...And This is Me
I am a working mother with three children - two girls, one boy. I have lived on the south coast all my life. I can't claim to have many hobbies but I do like to travel - Australia ,New Zealand, America last year, Canada, Hong Kong and Japan the year before, Switzerland and the best part of Europe... You get the idea.
I'm 5'5", over 21 years old and in good health, thank you. I have a dog, two cats and long term partner, Ian, who is the only man in the world that Michael Barrymore takes second place to.
Why this web site
When I first saw the Internet I was impressed. There was information on any subject you could think of except, it seemed, Michael Barrymore. Sure, there was the odd page here and there, but no dedicated web site.
So, imagine me. I like the Internet but I love Michael Barrymore. It seems obvious now that I would do this site but, I have to admit, it started off as just a few photographs on a larger, unrelated, site.
Me and my web site:
Running this site is fun. It's been just over 6 years now and It has had thousands of e-mails and messages and I appreciate every single one of them. It's a bit of a strange feeling; knowing that people all over the world can, and do, see whatever I put here. We are on our way to a 100,00 visitor's from 91 Countries. It's been quite an experience, too.
Apart from my on-going, up hill, struggle with HTML, I am in constant communication with Michaels representation and Management team to discuss and update this site continuously - I also catch up with Michael in person and therefore know not only how proud he is of this site, but also how much he values all of your messages and kind words of support.
Michael has had such a colourful career that that there will always be something to add. I have many ideas, too, for completely new sections floating around in my head. Bit by bit this site will continue to grow. If you look back in a years time I am confident that this site will be twice the size it is now. Please don't wait a year, though. Stuff is added all the time.
Michael is in the newspapers all the time, but there is no mention of it here. Why?
The site is about Michael's work. That's what makes me laugh so that's what I enjoy. Anyway, I was brought up to believe that if you can't say something good about a person then you should say nothing at all. And there is so very much good to say about Michael.
