From Sharon, by e-mail:

In 1987 I had the pleasure of working at Caesar's Palace, Luton, working as a restaurant supervisor along with other colleagues. Michael appeared there several times with his wife in tow and their little white scottie dog (whose name I have forgotten). [that would be Candy]

As a supervisor we had the pleasure of going into the dressing rooms of the stars, asking if everything was OK, and taking orders for food and drinks. Many a time Michael invited some of us back stage, before and after the show, where we would have a really good laugh. What a great guy he is, and in my eyes always will be.

I found him to be a very Kind, Caring, Friendly, and a very Funny person, in fact there is no word that I could explain that would describe him.
Working with the people that we met was a privilege, and an experience that I would never ever forget.
